One of the most famous attractions that can be admired at Limeni is Petrobeis Mavromichalis Palace with its four-story tower and its arched openings that give us clear picture of the time. This particular building played an important role during the Greek War of Independence and in the post war years while in the village there is the tomb and the bust of the great millitary leader of Mani, Petrobeis Mavromichalis.

The biggest part of the beach in Limeni is rocky with rocks streching even in the sea. If someone wants to find a long sandy beach they can go to the long sandy beach that is located between Neo Itilo and Karavostasi. In addition to Petrobeis Palace and the beautiful landscapes the visitor can visit and admire the picturesque chapels that their beauty comes from other ages such as the chapel of Agios Sostis.
